Programme details
Details of the LSC Pan London Programme, its purpose, funding and specifications.
Context
The programme aims to address skills and employment needs at regional level and covers all the 5 London LSC areas (North, East, South, West, Central). Strategies which inform the development of the Programme and of projects include:
- the London Objective 3 Regional Development Plan [
818kb] - the emerging Regional Skills Partnership agenda in London led by the London Skills Commission and taking forward the work undertaken under the London Framework for Regional Employment and Skills Action. This in particular refers to two documents released in October 2005:
- London LSC priorities
- Mayor and LDA priorities
- the Skills Strategy White Paper (July 2003) [
864kb] This has now been further complemented by the following two White Papers:
- The work of the Skills for Business Network and relevant Sector Skills Councils (where they exist); this is particularly the case for projects with a sector focus. Further resources relevant to the Programme, including good practice publications, are available in the Resources section.
In addition, projects with a sectoral focus should align with work of the Skills for Business Network and relevant Sector Skills Councils (where they exist).
